Our 2025 Staycation school holiday program is here!

The Theatre Royal recognises that it's critical that young people have an opportunity to experience creativity and culture and this year we're again investing in a range of new ways for young people to engage and participate. 

Things with Wings is set to transform the Theatre Royal, City Hall, and TMAG into a buzzing creative playground these October holidays, packed with performances, workshops and hands-on fun. Featuring beloved local legends Terrapin and Second Echo Ensemble alongside acclaimed national companies Polyglot Theatre and Circa, this cross-venue celebration is bursting with energy. Circa reimagines Swan Lake with their spectacular show Duck Pond, Polyglot invites kids into immersive wonderlands with Bees and Paper Planet, Second Echo Ensemble brings heart and humour with The Adventures of Peacock, Chicken and the Pony They Rode Upon, and Terrapin introduces us to Feathers, a loveable ferret on a quest to find his flock.
