What we aim to do

We assist in promoting the Theatre Royal to the people of Tasmania and Australia, its cultural and historical significance and its programs and events.

The Friends of the Theatre Royal actively contribute to the Theatre by providing support for the Student Subscription Program, assisting young people from a variety of organisations to attend the Theatre, fundraising, providing archival and research support and helping to improve the Theatre’s facilities in a variety of ways.
