Speaking Through the Reed: Then, Now, Next
Join bassoonist Tasman Compton and pianist Karen Smithies at The Hedberg for a reflective lunchtime concert of music and storytelling.
Featuring Mozart's Bassoon Concerto and Schumann's Romances, alongside a heartfelt work by Tasmanian composer Jabra Latham, the program traces a deeply personal musical journey.
Through both performance and spoken reflection, Tasman offers insight into the experiences and influences that have shaped his path, inviting audiences into a thoughtful exploration of sound, time, and artistic identity.
Tickets are free, however bookings are essential as seating is limited.
