Ossa Music Prize Tour 2026: PALENCIA

Fresh from winning the prestigious 2026 Ossa Music Prize, fairytale-folk trio PALENCIA invites audiences into a world of rich harmonies, captivating storytelling and unforgettable original music.

Featuring Christian Palencia, Amity Hutton and Emily Oates, PALENCIA weaves together diverse musical influences, heartfelt lyrics and enchanting folk melodies to explore themes of love, identity, belonging and self-discovery. Audiences will experience songs from Animal, a magical musical journey that encourages us to embrace every part of ourselves, even the ones we fear.

With stunning vocal harmonies, multi-instrumental talent and a performance style that is both uplifting and immersive, PALENCIA promises an evening filled with wonder, connection and songs that will stay with you long after the final note.

  • Arriving at the Hedberg
    Please arrive between 5.30pm - 5.45pm via the University of Tasmania entrance to The Hedberg at 19 Collins Street Hobart.
  • Accessible Facilities
    The Ian Potter Recital Hall is located on the ground floor with level access from Collins Street.
