The Old Nick Company’s Hobart Theatre Summer School returns to the Theatre Royal in January 2027 with the smash-hit musical Mamma Mia!

Set on a sun-soaked Greek island and packed with the iconic music of ABBA, Mamma Mia! follows Sophie Sheridan as she prepares for her wedding and sets out to discover the identity of her father. What follows is a joyful story of love, friendship, family and finding where you belong.

Featuring much-loved songs including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Super Trouper and The Winner Takes It All, this feel-good musical is bursting with energy, heart and unforgettable music.

Performed by the talented young cast of the Hobart Theatre Summer School, Mamma Mia! continues a proud tradition of bringing together emerging performers from across Hobart for a full-scale musical theatre experience.
