Under the direction of Dr Mia Palencia and Dr Matthew Boden, the Conservatorium of Music's vocal ensemble consist of singers across classical, contemporary and musical theatre styles. Their repertoire reflects diversity, drawing on the collective strengths of the University of Tasmania's vocal cohort to produce a program that celebrates community and connection.

Join the University of Tasmania for a vibrant afternoon of vocal music as we celebrate the inaugural performance of The Hedberg Vocal Ensemble, presenting a collection of folk, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary choral pieces.

  • Arriving at the Hedberg
    Please arrive between 12.30pm - 12.45pm via the University of Tasmania entrance to The Hedberg at 19 Collins Street Hobart.

  • Accessible Facilities
    The Ian Potter Recital Hall is located on the ground floor with level access from Collins Street.

  • Mask requirements
    Mask wearing is an individual choice, however UTAS strongly recommends that masks be worn in indoor settings, particularly where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
