Contemporary Music Showcase (Catherine Ramsey)

Celebrate the creativity of contemporary music through an evening featuring works by UTAS' Conservatorium Songwriters and ensembles from the Jazz and Pop stream, the program showcases diverse musical voices, personal stories and collaborative creativity. The evening culminates with Lotus Garden, Catherine Ramsey’s capstone production inspired by the choral music of Warframe. Combining seven singers, live accompaniment, choreography and visual effects, this immersive performance creates a captivating and atmospheric concert experience.

Contemporary Music Showcase (Ethan Hurst)

Experience an evening of original music and dynamic ensemble performance, featuring the UTAS Conservatorium’s Songwriters and Jazz and Pop students. The showcase concludes with Ethan Hurst’s capstone recital, marking his first exploration of pop and country music after four years of classical vocal training. Joined by a live band, Ethan presents a heartfelt program of ballads, country favourites and rock classics, sharing personal reflections that create an intimate and engaging concert experience.
