The UTAS Conservatorium is delighted to present a program of works for brass ensembles performed by visiting artists from West Texas A&M University – all the way from Canyon, Texas. Led by Director Dr Guglielmo Manifred and composer Dr BJ Brooks, the ensembles consist of a tertiary student brass quintet and staff quintet, and will present a variety of works by both American and Australia composers. The artists appear on tour as part of an on-going connection with The Friends’ School, Hobart.
