Celebrating 60 years of one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time.

Following our near sell-out show in 2026, Jason Taylor’s The Neil Diamond Story returns to Hobart’s Theatre Royal bigger and better, with our biggest Hobart production yet — a spectacular 14-piece line-up.

Joining our outstanding live band and the stunning harmonies of The Diamond Sisters are The Fabulous Horn Dogs — our powerhouse four-piece brass section featuring two trumpets, saxophone and trombone. Together, they bring the rich sound and excitement of Neil Diamond’s legendary live performances to the stage.

Expect heartfelt stories, soaring vocals and unforgettable singalongs, including Sweet Caroline, Cracklin’ Rosie, Beautiful Noise, Holly Holy and I Am… I Said.

Australia fell in love with Neil Diamond — and Neil loved us right back. From Hot August Night spinning on the family record player to his unforgettable Australian tours, his music became part of the soundtrack of our lives. With that landmark album spending an extraordinary 29 weeks at number one in Australia, this is a love affair spanning generations.

Come for the memories. Stay for the music. Leave with a little more Neil in your heart.

Not an imitation — it’s a celebration.
