Following their sensational productions of Wicked, Mary Poppins and the Tasmanian Premiere of Mamma Mia!, The Show Company Tasmania returns to the Theatre Royal this October with the magical, musical masterpiece Into The Woods.

With a Tony Award-winning score and book by the legendary Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, Into The Woods is an epic fairy tale that brings together everyone’s favourite storybook characters in a darkly entertaining comedy. A Baker and his wife, Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood and even the Witch all wish for something…but what will be the consequences if their wishes are granted?

Into The Woods stars Nicole Simms-Farrow (the Witch), Petr Divis (the Baker), Melinda Briton (the Baker’s Wife) and Max Baldock (Jack), with Jaime Mollineux (Cinderella), Martine Holliday (Little Red Riding Hood), Jack Norris (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf) and Katie Green (Lucinda) all returning from interstate for this outstanding production. Robert Jarman, Di Richards, David Thomson, Karen Kluss, Rebecca Oliver Black, Grace Ovens, Ollie Gorringe, Clare Pearson and Andrew Hawkey also shine in the brilliant, all-Tasmanian cast.
