Helpmann Award-winning West End star Simon Gleeson (Mamma Mia!, Love Never Dies, Les Miserables, Oklahoma!) is set to appear as one of the professional guest stars in John X Presents’ cabaret-style celebration of musicals ...5, 6, 7, 8 Numbers from the Musicals, opening at Hobart’s Theatre Royal Friday 6 October.

Other musical stars appearing are Natalie O’Donnell (Mamma Mia!, Les Miserables), Christie Whelan Browne (The Rocky Horror Show, Muriel’s Wedding The Musical), Joshua Waiss Gates (currently in The Rocky Horror Show, Billy Elliot, Jagged Little Pill) and Samantha James-Radford (The Rocky Horror Show, Big Monkey).

These legends will be joined by special guests from Tassie’s dance community, including Encore Dance & Theatre School, The House of Dance, Industrie Performing Arts and Jenina’s Dance Workshop. All performing numbers from everyone’s favourite musicals, including 42nd Street, Chicago, Mamma Mia! and The Prom... to name a few!
