The TEDxHobart committee is proud to bring you an event that will provide value, education, entertainment and insights to the audience and community.
The theme for the event is Of Land and Sea, celebrating the joys that make Hobart / nipaluna a unique place to live. The speakers and performers who are presenting at TEDxHobart have been specifically chosen to present the ideas worth spreading that need to be heard locally and globally.
TEDx was last in Hobart in January 2014. The world has changed significantly since that time. With the advancement of technology, world events that have rocked our society, and a global pandemic to shake our foundations, our society had grown and changed in unbelievable ways.
TEDxHobart is a not-for-profit event, reliant on the support of our partners. TEDxHobart are excited to present their full-day conference to our community. This flagship TEDxHobart conference will present speakers, and performances throughout the day. The day will also include a lunch and opportunities for networking and conversation between sessions on the day.
We believe in the power of ideas and storytelling. The Hobart / nipaluna community is full of people with incredible ideas, amazing experiences and powerful stories. We believe in celebrating the power of ideas and TEDxHobart will provide the premier platform for Hobart’s greatest thinkers and doers to reach a large, influential, local community and then be available online.
All tickets $130
*all bookings will incur a $5 Transaction Fee
