First performed in 1835 based on historical events and immortalised in Sir Walter Scott's novel ' The Bride of Lammermoor', this three act 'Dramma Tragico' is set in the untamed Lowlands of medieval Scotland.

Star crossed lovers, Lucia Ashton and Sir Edgardo Ravenswood meet in secret. Dodging the vicious clan war between their opposing families, a battle where loyalty, honour and family are the greatest of weapons besides the broadsword. Ultimately it is uncertain whether both sides are destroyed or redeemed by the horrific consequences of true love.....
