THE THEATRE ROYAL PRESENTS A SYDNEY THEATRE COMPANY PRODUCTION

If you think the world is a farce and the clowns have taken over the circus, run away to join Australia’s favourite political satirists, The Wharf Revue, for a fabulous night under canvas of variety, song and gratuitous nudity* in Debt Defying Acts!

You’ll thrill to Julia: flame haired temptress and queen of the high wire balancing act. How the outer- west was won: as ‘Wild’ Barry O’Farrell gets his gun. The tragedy of King Rupert: hacked down in his prime. The amazing greens: Australia’s least amusing clowns!

Rudd never dies or the incredible re-appearing man. Tony Abbott: the evil Doctor No with his invisible mandate. Assange and Robertson: novelty whistle blowers. The exotic flowers of the Arabian spring… they’ll cause an uprising in your dishdasha! And re-introducing the faded rose of yesteryear Miss Kittie Keneally. Crapunzel
Crapunzel 13/11/2012 To 17/11/2012

BAWDY PANTO’S PRESENTS THEIR 10TH ANNIVERSARY PRODUCTION

For the past nine years the Bawdy Panto team has presented a pre-Christmas giggle that discerning theatre-goers now have firmly established in their diaries. Crapunzel is the 10th anniversary offering from this outrageous crew.

Loosely based on the German fairy tale with a similar name, Crapunzel promises to be laugh-a-minute dialogue delivered by Tasmania's who's who in the media and theatre complemented by beautiful dancers and silly songs. Similarities to the original story are not sufficient enough for the creators to change their names to The Brothers Grin but if previous Bawdy Panto's audience reactions are anything to go on, a great, fun-filled night out is guaranteed. Let your hair down and come along!

This is a Theatre Royal Season 2012 show and is available for season package discounts.
