In her hugely successful memoir Eat, Pray, Love, Elizabeth Gilbert took us on a spiritual and gastronomic journey around the world. Written with warmth and humour, it became an inspiration for readers everywhere, remaining on The New York Times Best Seller list for 187 weeks.  Elizabeth is coming to Hobart in February!  

She will join favourite Tasmanian author, Heather Rose, In Conversation at the Theatre Royal to discuss her latest book on creativity - Big Magic - and how she came to write her acclaimed novel The Signature of All Things.

Gilbert began her career writing for Harper's Bazaar, Spin, The New York Times Magazine and GQ, and was a three-time finalist for the National Magazine Award.  Her story collection Pilgrims was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway award; The Last American Man was a finalist for both the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. The Signature of All Things, was named a Best Book of 2013 by The New York Times and shortlisted for a number of prestigious awards.

Named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine, Elizabeth Gilbert’s story continues to be an inspiration to readers everywhere.
