Arts Tasmania is the unique, innovative and creative government arts agency, responsible for policy and planning for arts and culture in Tasmania. The Theatre Royal is supported through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for the Arts.

Playing Australia

The Australian Government is proud to be associated with tours of interstate companies to Tasmania through the national performing arts touring program, Playing Australia, which gives Australians across the country the opportunity to see some of our best performing arts.

RACT

RACT is Tasmania's leading service organisation, offering a large range of services based on the guiding principles of support, security, safety and service.
Both iconic Tasmanian businesses, the RACT and the Theatre Royal serve the Tasmanian community, are seen as leaders in our respective fields and enjoy an alignment of values and objectives. The RACT is the Theatre Royal’s Principal Partner in 2013.

Xsquared Architects

Xsquared Architects is a leading Tasmanian architectural practice, providing a comprehensive range of services for both living and working environments.
Specialising in commercial, institutional and sustainable design they are committed to supporting and participating in the arts. In 2013 Xsquared Architects will support bringing The Table Of Knowledge to the Theatre Royal.

The Old Woolstore Hotel

The multi-award winning Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel Hobart has built a reputation as one of Australia's most welcoming and relaxing inner-city hotels. It has a long and successful partnership with the Theatre Royal providing accommodation and function services to both the Theatre Royal and touring companies.

Hobart City Council

The Hobart City Council is one of the nation's oldest councils; its demonstrated leadership has made Hobart one of the most liveable cities with a quality lifestyle. The Theatre Royal is grateful for the assistance and support provided by the Hobart City.

Friends of the Theatre Royal

The Friends of the Theatre Royal provide valuable support to the Theatre, assisting in promotion of, and raising funds for the Theatre. The Friends of the Theatre Royal conduct public tours of the Theatre. You can book a tour at the Box Office.

Cascade Brewery

Peter Degraves designed and built the Cascade Brewery in 1824 and the Theatre Royal in 1834.  A collaborative partnership has been forged from this common heritage.  Cascade continues to uphold its beliefs in quality and hard work while proudly giving back to the State that has supported it all these years.  In 2013 the Theatre once again welcomes Cascade Brewery’s commitment to supporting access for individuals to the theatre and the arts.

Southern Water

One of Southern Water's key drivers is to provide lasting value for communities. As well as providing sustainable services, Southern Water contributes to the community by offering financial and in-kind support. The Theatre again welcomes Southern Water’s commitment to supporting access for primary school students to the theatre and the arts. In 2013 they will support access to Bubblewrap & Boxes.

Fullers Bookshop

Fullers Bookshop was born in Hobart in the early 1920s. It is a well established, vibrant and dynamic bookshop. It holds the status of Tasmania’s leading independent bookseller and is a fundamental component of Tasmania’s cultural landscape. Fullers support the Theatre Royal’s ‘meet the writer’ events during 2013.

Digital Ink

Digital Ink is a successful design studio specialising in design and production for print and multimedia. Digital Ink demonstrates their considerable expertise with the design of all the Theatre Royal’s printed material and press advertising. The quality of Digital Ink’s work has been acknowledged through a multitude of awards.

Typeface

Typeface is a professional design and printing company based in Hobart. Providing a high quality and reliable printing services to the Theatre Royal.

Southern Cross Austereo

Southern Cross Austereo is the creator of more hours of live content than any other broadcast media in Australia. Southern Cross Austereo is the Theatre’s television and radio advertising partner.

Heart 107.3 Hobart

Heart 107.3 is Hobart's best adult contemporary station, playing the widest variety of music from the 70's right through to the latest hits. They enjoy a heavy involvement in the community.

40 Degree South

Tasmania 40°South is a magazine that celebrates all that is good about Australia’s island state. Richly illustrated with superb photographs. Tasmania 40°South presents the wilderness, wildlife, culture, industry, landscapes and people of Tasmania.

Magnolia Flowers

Located in Macquarie Street, South Hobart, Magnolia Flowers are the Theatre Royal’s florist partner, providing beautiful floral arrangements for the Theatre Royal foyer and events.

TasVacations

TasVacations is Tasmania’s own travel company. An active member of the Tasmanian community for over 35 years during which time they have created holiday dreams for tens of thousands of people.
